Educator-Owned.
Globally Connected.
Research-led Education.
Each Immersion Montessori School (IMS) program is co-owned and led locally by educators, supported by shared research, standards, and mission-driven practices.
Programs vary by region, with IMS schools offering Montessori learning, enrichment, and community partnerships aligned with local needs and opportunities. Our schools serve children from infancy through elementary, with enrichment programs—including afterschool partnerships and summer experiences—shaped by each local community.

Montessori Methodology
Every IMS classroom is grounded in Montessori principles, fostering independence, curiosity, and deep concentration through hands-on exploration and respect for each child’s natural development.
Language Immersion
Children live and learn in multiple languages each day, acquiring fluency through meaningful interaction, cultural context, and authentic communication — not isolated instruction.
Research-Led Practice
IMS is founded and guided by educational researchers with extensive higher-education experience. Our in-house Higher Education & Research Team connects early childhood practice with ongoing research in child development, learning, and language acquisition, ensuring classrooms benefit from evidence-based design and continuous improvement.
Locally Led, Thoughtfully Supported
Each IMS center is led by a dedicated educator-owner who stewards the local community with care and accountability. These leaders are supported by shared curriculum development, training, operational systems, and global resources — allowing care and relationships to remain local while quality and stability are sustained network-wide.
International Community
IMS is an international community of educators, families, and students connected through language, culture, and shared purpose. We intentionally build community and support systems around our centers that help educators feel at home — from professional collaboration to housing and community-based initiatives.

Higher Education & Research
Led by Dr. Laura Golnabi, the Higher Education & Research (HER) Team bridges research and classroom practice across the IMS network. Through curriculum development, educator training, family engagement, behavioral guidance, and student progress monitoring, the team ensures that every IMS environment reflects the latest insights in Montessori and immersion education. Their work also extends beyond the classroom through the Flow Learning Center, advancing innovation and lifelong learning for children, educators, and families alike.

IMS Co-Ownership Model
At Immersion Montessori School, we believe that those closest to the classroom should have the opportunity to lead it. Our co-ownership model empowers passionate educators to become school leaders and partners, combining their local expertise with IMS’s global support network. As co-investors, IMS provides the financial resources to launch and sustain thriving Montessori centers while offering professional development, training, and mentorship that prepare educators to open and successfully operate their own schools. We also provide comprehensive guidance on licensing and ordinances, ensuring that each center meets all requirements, and share operational resources and systems that help local partners navigate administration, staffing, and community engagement—avoiding the challenges of single ownership. Together, IMS and its partners create schools that are locally rooted, globally connected, and led by empowered educators shaping their own Montessori communities. This global network also allows families and staff to participate in exchange opportunities, building lasting cross-cultural connections across IMS campuses worldwide.
